Opens today, May 25, 2023, and will remain open until May 30, the first call of the call supported entirely by the Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation, “Piemonte Film Tv Development Fund” for the development of feature films and TV series with an allocation of €150,000. Support for each individual project will range from €10,000 up to €50,000.

The fund is part of the two-year agreement between Compagnia di San Paolo, the Piedmont Region and the Torino Piemonte Film Commission Foundation and is part of the 2023-2026 multi-year agreement between the Piedmont Region and Compagnia di San Paolo to support strategic projects in the areas of culture, people and the planet.

Francesco Profumo, president of the Foundation said, “Consistent with its strategic objectives, the Foundation recognizes the Piedmont Cinema System to be a driver of development with an important economic impact on the territory,” pointing out that it is in fact “a sector that, much more than others, is able to activate resources and funding and generate significant spin-offs, also thanks to the widespread and virtuous action that Film Commission Torino Piemonte carries out in the territory.”

The next deadline to be able to apply will be October 1 and will end on December 15. A total of €700,000 will be allocated in the two-year period 2023/2024, making effective the economic commitment of La Fondazione di San Paolo to the audiovisual industry.
