Fred Cavayè will direct the French remake of Perfetti Sconosciuti (Perfect Strangers) by Paolo Genovese, winner of the David di Donatello 2016 for Best Movie and Best Screenplay and winner of the Best Movie Award at the Tribeca Film Festival. The feature film had a great success in Italy (18 mln euros) and it has been written by Filippo Bologna, Paolo Costella, Paola Mammini and Rolando Ravello, in addition to Genovese himself. Sold in more than 30countries alla round the world by True Colors, it’s produced by Medusa Film which also distributed the movie in Italy. In the French remake, Le Jeu (The Game), the cast will be composed by Bérénice Bejo, Suzanne Clément, Stéphane De Groodt, Vincent Elbaz, Grégory Gadebois, Doria Tillier and Roschdy Zem.

Shooting are now on going and they will last until December 4th. The film will be released in French cinemas on October 31st 2018. It’s produced by Stéphane Célérier and Valérie Garcia for Mars Films and by Camille Nesbitt and Pietro Valsecchi for MedsetFilms. It’s already been pre-acquired by Canal+ and Ciné+.
