Following the recent merger between Paramount and Skydance in August, the Studios are now expanding their portfolio with a new agreement involving Legendary Entertainment—once again demonstrating their commitment to developing strategic partnerships capable of delivering major international franchises.

The two companies have signed a three-year deal aimed at strengthening their presence and operations in the global market. Under the agreement, Paramount will handle the international marketing and distribution of films produced by Legendary, with the exception of China, where Legendary’s subsidiary, Legendary East, will continue to operate.

For Paramount, the deal represents a strategic opportunity to diversify and expand its slate, while for Legendary, it marks the beginning of a new phase of growth—without ending its ongoing collaborations with Warner Bros. The latter will continue to distribute some of the studio’s most important franchises, including Dune: Part Three, slated for release in 2026, and Godzilla x Kong: Supernova, scheduled for 2027.

The first project under this new partnership is Street Fighter, a live-action adaptation of the iconic Capcom video game. Designed as an IMAX experience, the film is currently in production and is set to hit theaters on October 16, 2026.
