Cinderella The Cat by Alessandro Rak, Ivan Cappiello, Marino Guarnieri and Dario Sansone (Mad Entertainment, Rai Cinema, Big Sur, Skydancers, Tramp Limited) figures in the list of films racing for the Best Animated Feature of the Oscars 2018. The official selection will be announced on January 23rd. The movie is a modern, sci-fi reinterpretation of the classic fairytale as it’s narrated by Giambattista Basile and it’s been a huge success in Venice. The cast is compoused by many professionals and famous actors which gave their voices to the main characters, like Maria Pia Calzone, Massimiliano Gallo and Alessandro Gassman.
The selection includes 26 feature films from alla round the world, like major titles as Disney/Pixar Coco, Despicable Me 3, The Boss Baby and Cars 3, and other smaller films which have been a great audience success, like The Breadwinner and Loving Vincent.
