Opening today, 2 October, is the Apulia Development Film Fund 2023, the fund aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises, SMEs, operating in the audiovisual sector with primary code NACE 59.11 or ATECO 59.11, owners of the majority of the rights of the audiovisual work submitted.

It will be possible to apply until 31 October.

The audiovisual works must meet at least one of the following requirements: be set mainly in Apulia, have an Apulian author, or be an adaptation of an Apulian literary work.

Eligible projects for the Cinema and Doc category must have a minimum running time of 52 minutes; for the TV Series category a total running time of no less than 120 minutes; for the Animation category, feature films for principal cinematographic exploitation must exceed 52 minutes while works intended for television broadcasting must exceed 24 minutes.

Audio-visual works to be supported must reach a total of 70 points. The financial support takes the form of a de minimis direct grant in the amount of 70% of the eligible expenses for development and pre-production of audiovisual works.

The selection will be carried out by the offices of the Fondazione Apulia Film Commission.
