Netflix has acquired the rights to adapt The Secret of Secrets, Dan Brown’s new novel set to be released on September 9, 2025, into a television series.
Brown will be joined in the production and screenwriting by Carlton Cuse, who is known for his work on Lost and the Jack Ryan series adaptations.
The new book is the sixth installment in the series featuring Professor Robert Langdon, facing with a new mystery. Three films have been made from the series, starring Tom Hanks: The Da Vinci Code (2006), Angels & Demons (2009), and Inferno (2016), as well as a television series, The Lost Symbol, which was released in 2021 on the Peacock platform and starred the actor Ashley Zukerman.
