The shortlists of the 71st edition of Nastri d’Argento have been announced. The awards will be awarded by the National Association of Italian Film Journalists (SNGCI). The most nominated movies are Gianni Amelio’s Holding hands and Leonardo De Angelis’s Indivisible (seven nominations each), followed by Marco Bellocchio’s Sweet dreams and Claudio Giovannesi’s Fiore (Six nominations), Francesco Bruni’s Tutto quello che vuoi (five), Fabio Mollo’s There is a light, Claudio Amendola’s The furlough and Antonio Piazza and Fabio Grassadonia’s Sicilian Ghost Story (four each).
