The Nastri d’Argento 2019 have been awarded. The Vice of Hope (MIA 2017), The Champion (MIA 2018), Bangla (MIA 2018) and Little Tito and the Aliens (MIA 2016) have received loads of awards.

On June 29th, 2019, in Ancient Theater of Taormina, the Nastri d’Argento 2019 were awarded. The event was organized by the Italian National Syndicate of Film Journalists with the support of Directorate General for Cinema of the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and the collaboration, in Rome, of Lazio Region and, in Taormina, of Sicily Region.

The Vice of Hope by Edoardo De Angelis, presented at MIA 2017 Co-production Market and Pitching Forum, has received the awards for the Best Scenography, the Best Original Song and the Best Supporting Actress with Marina Confalone. The Champion by Leonardo D’Agostini, presented at MIA 2018 What’s Next Italy has won the awards for the Best New Director and the Best Producer (Groenlandia Film). Bangla by Phaim Bhuiyan, presented at MIA 2018 What’s Next Italy, has received the award for the Best Comedy. Little Tito and the Aliens by Paola Randi, presented at What’s Next Italy in 2016, has won the award for the Best Story.
