World war Z, the blockbuster on the war with zombies adapted from the novel of Max Brooks which earned 540 million dollars all over the world will soon have a sequel. This is what was announced in Los Angeles after the deal was closed between David Fincher, director, and Jim Gianopulos, new CEO of Paramount Pictures that will produce the film with Skydance Productions. Filming is due to start early next year, and Brad Pitt has been confirmed as leading actor. It would be the fourth collaboration between FIncher and Pitt, after some great hits such as Seven (1995), Fight Club (1999) and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008). It is not the first sequel for Finch, who has already directed the third episode of Alien in 1992 and this time he will have Steven Knight as screen writer, who has worked for such directors as David Cronenberg, Stephen Frears and Robert Zemeckis. Plot and locations are still top secret.
