From 4 to 10 October 2018 the film Michelangelo – Infinito, produced by Sky and Magnitudo Film on the artistic genius Buonarroti, will hit the movie theatres.

What is it that defines an artist? An artist is one of a kind, regardless of the art form, whereas it’s a painter, a sculptor, multi-skilled… The real artists have no labels but one: the fact of being one of them. Michelangelo Buonarroti is one of the most important artists in the history of art whose priceless masterpieces still today leave us speechless.

Sculpture, painting, and drawing told with spectacular shots in ultra-high definition, with added recreations elaborated with sophisticated digital effects. Enrico Lo Verso embodies the character of Michelangelo Buonarroti while Giorgio Vasari is interpreted by Ivano Marescotti.

Michelangelo – Infinito is an original Sky production co-produced by Magnitude Film, with the collaboration of the Vatican Museums and Vatican Media, the Recognition of the Directorate-General for Cinema – MiBACT, and in partnership with the Regional Council of Tuscany, with the Patronage of the City of Florence and Carrara Municipality. Distributed in Italian cinemas by Lucky Red from 4 to 10 October 2018, Michelangelo – Infinito will hit the international screens thanks to True Colours Productions.
