The MIA | Mercato Internazionale Audiovisivo confirms its status once again as a strategic Hub and key industry reference point, following the selection of the film Children of The Monkey by Tommaso Landucci in the Orizzonti competition section of the 83rd Venice International Film Festival.
The film previously participated in MIA 2023 as a project in development within the “Wanna Taste It” section of the Film Co-Production Market.
Written by Tommaso Landucci alongside Damiano Femfert, Children of the Monkey stars actor Riccardo Scamarcio and is produced by Lungta Film, Mosaicon Film, and Lebowski in collaboration with Rai Cinema. It will officially compete in the prestigious Orizzonti section, an international showcase dedicated to the latest aesthetic and expressive trends in world cinema.
