Marco Chimenz, co-CEO at Cattleya, will join the general management team of Federation Studios as Group Co-Managing Director, position effective from January 1st 2024.

Joshua Berman, collaborator of Chimenz, will also join the team as International Business Affairs Advisor.

Chimenz, who will however retain his position at Cattleya Production for two more years, will join founder and Ceo Pascal Breton and Lionel Uzan, managing director.

“I am thrilled to join Pascal and Lionel, two producers and entrepreneurs I have known for years and for whom I have the highest esteem, who lead a brilliant group with a strong international vocation. Of course, after working with Riccardo Tozzi and Giovanni Stabilini for more than half my life, leaving Cattleya and its formidable team for me is like leaving a family. I am deeply grateful to all of them for the adventure of a lifetime, as well as Julian Bellamy, Lisa Perrin, Duncan Walker and all of ITV Studios,’ Chimenz said.

Federation Studios, one of Europe’s largest independent studios specialised in the creation of original productions many of which are already international successes, and which now has 35 member production companies, will benefit from Chimenz’s presence, which “can only strengthen Federation’s expertise in the areas of pre-financing, co-production and sales of films and TV series,” declared Pascal Breton, CEO of Federation Studios, who also added: “this will also help to increase our presence in the international arena, continuing to build an international Studio that works closely with talent from around the world, a characteristic that has always distinguished us.”
