Italians Doc It Better, the content showcase of the Doc section of the MIA | Mercato Internazionale Audiovisivo, was held on the morning of 16 October 2024 at the Cinema Barberini.
Italians Doc It Better selects Italian feature films, docuseries and television one-offs that are seeking distribution abroad in cinemas, on television or on streaming platforms.
The selected projects are in post-production, rough cut or completed. As of this year, Italians Doc It Better, which over time has become the leading international showcase linked to the world of Italian documentaries, exclusively features world market premieres.
During this edition, the following titles were presented to international buyers:

THE GOLDEN AGE, directed by Camilla Iannetti and produced by Zabriskie, in collaboration with Cut and Rai Cinema;
THE MADMEN COACH, directed by Carlo Liberatore and produced by 8Moon, together with ECOS European Culture and Sport Organisation;
PULLING MY OWN STRINGS, directed by Alessandra Cataleta and produced by Atomic / Officina38 / Cinema Key;
SIGONELLA THE CHALLENGE, directed by Flavia Triggiani / Marina Loi and produced by Iervolino / Lady Bacardi Entertainment S.p.A;
UKRAINIAN WHISPERS, directed by Francesca Mannocchi and produced by Fandango;
UNTIL THE END, directed by Michael Braha and produced by Oki Doki Film S.r.l.
The submitted titles also compete for the GEDI Visual Award, which consists of unprecedented media coverage for a documentary produced in Italy.
