The week closes with a different ranking compared to the previous one. The new titles released in cinemas have changed, resulting in varying audience attendance.
The documentary Naza, produced by The Guardian and JW Films and presented in competition at the Venice Film Festival, debuts in first place. The film, directed by Israeli filmmakers Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor, won the Special Jury Prize and grossed 3.019.081 euros, attracting 393.912 spectators.
Following it, the film starring Brad Pitt, Heart of the Beast, continues its run by climbing to second place, with 1.089.442 euros and 142.292 admissions, bringing its total to 2.134.154 euros.
Avengers: Endgame – Encore drops to third place. The Avengers revival grosses 1.005.630 euros and draws 111.708 spectators.
Verity, produced by Amazon MGM Studios and starring Dakota Johnson and Anne Hathaway, debuts in fourth place, with a gross of 661.377 euros and 82.750 spectators. Close behind, Resident Evil continues its run in fifth place, reaching 634.469 euros and 78.741 admissions.
The new film by Alejandro González Iñárritu, starring Tom Cruise, also returns to cinemas. The movie, produced by Warner Bros. and Legendary Entertainment, tells the story of an eccentric and immensely powerful Texan oil magnate, Digger Rockwell. It debuts in sixth place, earning 532.945 euros and attracting 70.201 spectators.
Seventh place goes to Ultimo – Tutto. Live a Tor Vergata, which generates 449.932 euros and brings 28.751 people to cinemas. L’isola dei ricordi moves into eighth place, collecting 269.713 euros, with 40.218 spectators.
In ninth place is The Invite – Il piacere è tutto nostro, which totals 252.400 euros and reaches 34.622 admissions. The Bibi Files, produced by Oscar-winning filmmaker Alex Gibney, debuts in tenth place. The documentary grosses 229.518 euros and brings 30.233 spectators to cinemas.
