From June 10 to 12 the new edition of the Audio-Visual Producers Summit will be held in Calabria where Italy, France, Great Britain and the United States, will come together for a three-day event of meetings and debates on the national and international audiovisual industry. The event is an APA format with the support of MiC, Direzione Generale Cinema e Audiovisivo, MAECI / ICE and Calabria Film Commission Foundation with the collaboration of Cinecittà, MPA, PGA, CNC, Unifrance and BFI. Present will be Lucia Borgonzoni – Undersecretary for Culture, Marco Follini – President APA Service, Anton Giulio Grande – Extraordinary Commissioner Calabria Film Commission Foundation.

Also this year at the AVP Summit will be presented the Maximo Awards, the awards designed to reward and promote excellence in all areas of the audiovisual industry. Specifically, on the evening of June 11, awards will be presented to, among others, Massimiliano Bruno performer, director and screenwriter, with Alessio Maria Federici, of “Non ci resta che il crimine – La serie,” director Marco Pontecorvo who directed “Per Elisa – Il caso Claps,” actress Rosa Diletta Rossi great protagonist of “Maria Corleone” and actor Alessio Boni, once again an extraordinary performer in “Il metodo Fenoglio – L’estate fredda.”

The focus of the meetings will be on co-productions, story telling, funding models and state incentives, new technologies – from Artificial Intelligence to VFX – as well as topics such as diversity and inclusion.
