Back in Conversano (Bari), August 18-25, Imaginaria – International Animated Film Festival, now in its 22nd edition.

The festival’s categories are: INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM COMPETITION, which is the main selection; the GRADUATION SHORT FILM COMPETITION; the 13 MUSIC VIDEO selection. And for younger children, the CHILDREN’S SHORT FILM COMPETITION. A total of as many as 100 works from 28 countries around the world, made with various techniques ranging from traditional drawing on paper filmed at one step to stop motion, from 2D and 3 D digital to mixed techniques, almost all of them regional, national or world premieres, always screened in original language with Italian subtitles.

Also present in Conversano will be some of the directors in the competition, such as Estonians Olga Pärn and Priit Pärn, Marche’s Viola Mancini and Margherita Giusti, winner of the David di Donatello 2024 for best short film with “The Meatseller.”

The festival is produced as part of the Apulia Cinefestival Network 2024 with the support of the Apulia Region and Apulia Film Commission, MiC Direzione Generale Cinema and the Municipality of Conversano.
