The winners of the 79th edition of the Golden Globes have been announced. “The Power of the Dog” dominates the scene by winning three awards.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) recognized film and television talent for 2021, and highlighted its longstanding philanthropic work. In fact, over the past 25 years the HFPA has donated $50 million to more than 70 charities related to entertainment, film restoration, scholarship programs and humanitarian efforts.

The 79th Annual Golden Globe Awards, held on Sunday, January 9, 2022, saw Jane Campion’s “The Power of Dog” triumph as best drama and Steven Spielberg’s “West Side Story” among musicals and comedy. The title for best foreign film goes to “Drive My Car” by Japanese director Ryusuke Hamaguchi while among the award-winning TV series stand out “Succession” and “Hacks“.
