The aim of the newly formed joint venture (50/50) between Discovery Communications and the German group ProSiebenSat.1 is that of strengthening the video and ott mobile market in Germany. The streaming service, starting from the second half of the year, will offer the German audience the seven channels included in the mobile offer 7TV of ProSiebenSat.1 and the free German Discovery channels, namely DMAX e Tlc. The joint venture also plans to broaden the Ott platform, including further Discovery channels and contents, such as the Eurosport app, and to involve other partners in order to offer a higher number of contents.
