Genoa’s bridge: report of a tragedy goes on air on Sunday May 12th at 10.30 pm on National Geographic (Sky channel 403).

The documentary produced by National Geographic collects unreleased first-hand accounts of the morning of August 14th, 2018 and it reconstructs the collapse of Morandi’s bridge. The film contains videos shot by Genoese people moments before the collapse, as well as testimonies from survivors and firemen who worked relentlessly hoping to find someone under the rubble. Through the words of the 43 victims’ relatives we are able to remember that terrible morning.

The documentary also includes audio recordings to hot-lines, Whatsapp messages, and Facebook posts written by survivors to their families. Interviews to engineering and statics experts help in searching the answers to the many unanswered questions on the bridge’s collapse.
