It seems that Facebook is ready to take a step forward regarding the TV series production: according to Hollywood Reporter, the social network should be one step closer to making a deal with Mtv to bring Loosely Exactly Nicole back to life: Mtv produced the sit-com, but cancelled it after just one season.

It would be Facebook’s first and important step towards the world of scripted television; the employment of Mtv’s ex-manager Mina Lefevre would confirm the real possibility. She is now Head of Development at Facebook. She was the one who developed Loosely Exactly Nicole.

The series has never been released in Italy; it’s about Nicole, a wannabe actress and her over-the-top life. Because of low ratings, the network had decided to cancel the sit-com, but it looks like (Facebook has neither confirmed nor denied) that time is now ripe to bring the project back to life.
