How can a story deeply rooted in a specific territory become a documentary capable of reaching international audiences? What elements enable a project to transcend national borders?
These are the questions that Diego Buñuel, Director of Development at France Télévisions Studio, will address in a workshop dedicated to the principles of “glocal storytelling.” Drawing on concrete examples and his experience in the development and selection of documentary projects, Buñuel will explore how to identify the universal potential of a local story, build a strong narrative arc, and make creative choices that can resonate with viewers from different cultural backgrounds.
The workshop is aimed both at emerging filmmakers and at professionals looking to strengthen the international positioning of their projects.
