Innovation meets Distribution
How technology is changing the business of European distributors

Technology is increasingly becoming a strategic asset for film distribution. But which tools are already helping distributors make better decisions, reduce inefficiencies and unlock the full value of their catalogues?

Featuring innovative solutions developed within the European audiovisual ecosystem, including projects supported by Creative Europe MEDIA, the session will bring together innovators and distribution professionals to discuss how new tools are already delivering measurable business value by optimising workflows, improving decision-making, expanding audience reach and creating new revenue opportunities.

The panel will explore three different approaches to technology and innovation in distribution:

Mnemonica Archive, a cloud-based solution designed to optimise the preservation, management and circulation of audiovisual assets; Timeless Cinema, a platform dedicated to film heritage that facilitates connections between rights holders, catalogue owners, distributors and exhibitors, helping to enhance the circulation and accessibility of catalogue titles; European Moviegoer Analysis, a tool, developed by Vertigo Research, that combines AI and audience data to predict viewer behavior and optimise marketing and distribution strategies, with the aim of improving the commercial performance of European films.

Roberto Stabile, Project Manager, Creative Europe Desk Italy MEDIA, Cinecittà Spa
