Saints

Synopsis

Lali, a rather restless young woman living on the margins of society, reluctantly returns to Barcelona to take care of her dying mother Gloria, having broken all ties with her several years before. Feeling out of place, Lali looks around for a way out and happens to meet Rosario, the leader of a gang specialized in religious art theft. As she is drawn into their activities, Lali grows closer and closer to Rosario and to her own community. Yet as Gloria’s health deteriorates and the thefts become more audacious, Lali must choose between her past and what could be a new life.
