UNBOX Pitching Forum

Blurb

Eight European feature film projects will be presented at the UNBOX 2026 pitching session. Produced by
Alice nella città and curated by Francesco Giai Via, the training and co-production programme takes place
within MIA | Mercato Internazionale Audiovisivo. The selected teams will take the stage with debut fiction
features at various stages of development, seeking opportunities for production, co-production and
international distribution.

Curated by Francesco Giai Via, this year’s selection opens up to Europe for the first time through
collaborations with European Short Pitch and Nordisk Panorama, which contributed to scouting the
projects, and with the support of the European Film Academy. The pitching session concludes a
programme of mentoring, development and market preparation, with the teams supported by French
producer Didar Domehri, the UNBOX Angel for the 2026 edition, and offers participants the opportunity to
present their projects to international audiovisual industry professionals.
