According to from the foreign press, Endemol Shine, the TV production giant jointly owned by 21st Century Fox and Apollo Global Management, has commissioned entities like Deutsche Bank and LionTree to evaluate a possible sale. The co-owners have agreed to sell the company’s assets at an estimated price of €2.5 to €4 billion after Fox spurned the opportunity to buy out the company’s takeover rights.

Last year, Endemol Shine produced over 800 projects (including “Masterchef” and “BlackMirror”) in 79 countries around the world, and the company is based in Amsterdam, with branches in the UK, the United States, Latin America and Asia. Among the possible buyers, the press has mentioned the British ITV and the Banijay group led by Marco Bassetti, among which there is also the former head of Endelom Shine and Marco’s brother: Paolo Bassetti.
