It has been a negative week-end for Italian Box Office, with a 25% drop probably due to next week’s first releases (led by Alien: Covenant by Ridley Scott coming out next Thursday 11) and to Wednesdays Cinema at 2 euros this month, that pushes many people to postpone their cinema appointments.

Guardians of the Galaxy  vol. 1 (Marvel/Disney), maintains the first position, with 1.1 millions which bring it to a total of 5.9 million viewers, followed by the French Demain tout commence (Lucky Red), which gains 868 thousand euros with a total of 5.4 millions. The third place goes to Baby Boss (Fox) with 681 thousand euros.

Among the most awaited films for next week, besides the already mentioned Alien: Covenant (Scott Free Productions, Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation, distributed by 20th Century Fox), the sequel of Prometheus which had gained more than 400 millions worldwide in 2012, there are King Arthur – Legend of the Sword (Safehouse Pictures, Village Roadshow Pictures, Warner Bros., which owns also the distribution rights) by Guy Ritchie, with Charlie Hunnam as leading actor, Song To Song (Buckeye Pictures, FilmNation Entertainment, Waypoint Entertainment, distribute by Lucky Red) by Terrence Malick, with Ryan Gosling, Rooney Mara, Michael Fassbender, Natalie Portman and Cate Blanchett.
