Cultura Crea is the incentive measure of the PON ” Cultura e Sviluppo” FESR 2014-2020  addressed to micro, small and medium companies of the cultural and creative industry.

“New aid for businesses in the cultural and creative sector in southern Italy that suffered during the Covid-19 pandemic and a simplified path for the development of business and non-profit initiatives that enhance and promote cultural heritage in Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Puglia and Sicily”.

These are the words of the Minister of Culture, Dario Franceschini, after the Managing Authority of the PON Culture and Development 2014-2020 signed two Operational Directives that implement the changes and additions introduced in the discipline of the use of these European resources by the decree of 10 December 2020 of the Minister of Culture.

This is how Cultura Crea Plus was born, with a budget of 30 million euros from existing resources. This is a one-step procedure that offers up to 25,000 euros in non-refundable funds to companies, including non-profit companies, operating from 1 January 2020 that have suffered a loss of income during 2020 due to the Covid – 19 emergency and that do not necessarily intend to present an investment plan. The counter will be open from 12 p.m. on April 19th, 2021 until resources are exhausted.

Cultura Crea 2.0, on the other hand, will start on April 26, replacing the existing incentive for which it is no longer possible to apply. Among the many new features is the expansion of the areas of intervention, the number of beneficiaries and the expenses eligible for subsidies.

Assistance service is planned for all beneficiary enterprises that will apply, with technical-management tutoring, provided directly by the Managing Authority, to transfer to the beneficiaries specialist skills in strategic sectors such as marketing, human resources management and process and product innovation. It will be possible to submit an application from 12.00 p.m. on April 26th, 2021.
