Doc Co-production Market

The Call for Projects for the new edition of Doc Co-Production Market is now open!

The Doc Co-Production Market is an event committed to providing exposure to documentary projects in development. Our selection committee selects up to 15 international projects with high artistic standing and distribution potential.

MIA offers several networking opportunities and support producers to connect with the international decision-makers attending the market.

Only main producers with a production company are eligible to submit projects to the DOC Co-Production Market 2026. You may submit multiple entries, provided each meets the eligibility criteria.

Eligible formats include: TV one-offs (maximum 52 minutes), docuseries (minimum 4 episodes, 52 minutes each), and feature documentaries (over 70 minutes).

Submissions must include a trailer or teaser (subtitles in English); entries without one will not be considered.

Projects must not be in post-production and must not have been publicly pitched at any other industry events, markets or festivals prior to MIA 2026.

To check eligibility criteria, see our Main Guidelines and Rules 2026.
