The Cinema and Audiovisual interest grouping of Cna Sicilia, the Confederazione dell’Artigianato, has been formed.
It will be led by Ninni Panzera, former secretary general of Taormina Arte from 1987 to 2022 and artistic director of the 2017 Taormina Film Fest. The secretary of Cna Sicilia, Piero Giglione said in this regard, “We want to give representation to an important sector for our region, which has long since established itself as a location for important television series and film productions that have moreover had significant tourism spin-offs. We believe that this is a sector in which to invest for the development of our economy.”
The purpose of the new group will be to represent all businesses in the sector, starting with production, distribution, post-production up to festivals and suppliers of goods and services.
