Tuesday July 25th at Giffoni Innovation Hub MIA hosted a panel titled Child protection in media use. From the use of emerging technologies to revenge porn in the film and audiovisual experience.
The panel, born from the collaboration between MIA and the Italian Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, addressed the topics of digital literacy and protection of minors with respect to the use of social media. As an example of audiovisual work dealing with this kind of issues, the film Mia by Ivano de Matteo was presented.
The panel, hosted by MIA Director Gaia Tridente, was attended by Doctor Donatella Proto Executive from the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy-Directorate General for Electronic Communication, Broadcasting and Postal Services; Doctor Rosanna Raineri from the Department for Family Policies of the Italian Presidency of the Council of Ministers; Greta Gasbarri and Milena Mancini both starring as main characters in the movie Mia.
