Carlo Bixio Prize announces the winning projects

This year too, the “Targa SIAE Idea d’Autore” will be assigned.

Rome, October 16, 2018 – The collaboration between SIAE and Carlo Bixio Award has been renewed for the fifth consecutive year. The Italian Society of Authors and Publishers will assign the “Targa SIAE Idea d’Autore” – with the related prize of three thousand euros – to the screenplay that, among those evaluated by the Jury, will have distinguished itself for the originality of the initial concept.

In this seventh edition, it is Rai that offers the Carlo Bixio Prizes and, resuming the innovation wanted by RTI last year, will award the plaques for the best screenplay and the best concept by rewarding young people with – respectively – ten thousand and five thousand euros, in view of a contract with the broadcaster.

The jury, chaired by Gabriella CampennìBixio and composed of Leonardo Ferrara (RAI), Francesca Galiani (RTI), Ivan Cotroneo, Graziano Diana, Monica Rametta and Francesco Vicario, met yesterday to choose the three winning editorial projects. The order of the prizes will be revealed only during the prize-giving ceremony, which will be held on Saturday 20 October at MIA, the International Audiovisual Market.

Here are the three titles, and the names of their authors, in alphabetical order:

 

 “Bordello Chiaia” by Laura Grimaldi and Pietro Seghetti

 “L’oro di Achille” by Giuseppe Maria Martino, Elio Penna and Armando Francesco
