The complete ranking of the projects that applied to the I session 2024 of the Call for Selective Grants for the development and co-production of French-Italian cinematographic works and audiovisual series has been published on the institutional website of the Direzione generale Cinema e audiovisivo .

The grant has an annual budget of €1 million (divided equally between the DGCA and the CNC), provides for two evaluation sessions of €500,000 each and finances

co-development projects of cinematographic works or TV series, with total resources of €300,000;
co-production projects of cinematographic works, with total resources of €700,000.

The first round closed on 14 March. Fifteen projects took part, 3 of which were eligible for support. They are:

La casa bianca by Francesco Romano – production Amarena Film s.r.l. (Italy 75.16%), Bocalupo Films s.a.r.l. (France 24.84%) – which was allocated 75,000 euros by the DGCA and 40,000 euros by the CNC;

Rivo Alto by Clement Cogitore – Kino Produzioni (Italy 49.00%), Kazak Productions (France 51.00%) – which was allocated EUR 40,000 by the DGCA and EUR 132,500 by the CNC;

Un anno di scuola by Laura Samani – Nefertiti Film (Italy 76.52%), Tomsa Films (France 23.48%) – which was allocated 60,000 euros by the DGCA and 40,000 euros by the CNC.

In total, the amount allocated by the DGCA in this first session amounts to 175,000 euro, while the amount made available by the CNC is 212,500 euro.

The second round to apply for grants for the Italy-France call for proposals will be open from 9 to 26 September 2024.
