The Calabria Film Commission presented during an event at the Italian Pavilion the financial contribution aimed at increasing the number of film productions in the territory.
The contribution will be 6 million euros divided by four categories of works. The aim remains to enhance the historical, cultural and artistic heritage, creating value and attractiveness for the territory.
During the panel, attended by Calabria FC Special Commissioner Anton Giulio Grande and director Luciano Vigna, it was announced how 29 short films, 21 documentaries, 11 dramas and 49 films have been supported so far for a total of more than 18 million euros.
The two calls dedicated to festivals and reviews have supported 32 festivals and 17 reviews (€1.37 million). In addition, last year’s call dedicated to development supported 8 projects with as much as 611,540 euros.
