The first weekly box office of 2024 opens with the new masterpiece by Japanese master Hayao Miyazaki, How do you live?, released in Italian theaters on Jan. 1, which earned the top spot on the chart with a gross of € 3,934,904. In second position we find the comedy Succede anche nelle migliori famiglie, which earns € 3,862,986. The podium closes with the new Disney-branded film, Wish, which grosses € 3,043,129.

In fourth place is the film Wonka starring Timothée Chalamet, which takes home € 2,927,985 this week. In fifth position is another Italian film, Come può uno scoglio, which earns € 2,155,946. In sixth position is Paola Cortellesi’s masterpiece with € 1,575,273.

In seventh place in the ranking we find Acquaman and the Lost Kingdom with a weekly gross of € 1,537,172 and in eighth the comedy 50 Km per hour with Stefani Accorsi, which grosses € 1,162,136.

Finally, at the end of the chart we find the film Santocielo with € 715,245 in ninth place and Perfect Days with € 651,525 in tenth.
