The weekly box office kept the podium unchanged with Deadpool and Wolverine in first place (€ 43,528,306), followed by Inside Out 2 and Twister which maintained second and third place with respective takings of € 44,374,993 and € 1,277,365.
In fourth place, a new entry in the chart is Blackpink World Tour (Born Pink) in Cinemas, the record-breaking tour organised by the female group, became a film to celebrate the eighth anniversary of the Asian band’s debut. Released on 31 July it grossed € 198,410. Lord of the Rings The Two Towers followed in fifth place. The 2001 film is back in cinemas in a restored 4K version and grossed €447,398. In sixth place again a newly released title: Miller’s Girl distributed by Lucky Red which earned € 98,942 over the weekend.
In sixth place again a date with the Spider-Man to celebrate Columbia Pictures’ 100th anniversary, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 – The Power of Electro grossed € 88,206 since its release. Immaculate dropped one position to seventh place with a gross of €77,239. The Well, the 2024 film directed by Tiromancino frontman Federico Zampaglione was released in theatres and grossed € 48,419. The 2013 animated film The Tale of the Princess Kaguya, directed by Isao Takahata, closes the chart, earning € 88,959 in its second week since release.
