The weekly box office rankings opened with the film Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3, which grossed € 4,627,816, confirming its position at the top of the most-viewed films in Italian cinemas.

In second place The Super Mario Bros. Movie, dropping one position but remaining on the podium, earned € 1,163,977. In third place, Nanni Moretti’s Il Sol dell’Avvenire took the bronze medal with a weekly gross of € 783,746.

Moving down to fourth place, the horror film Evil Dead Rise, the fifth installment of the saga, directed by Lee Cronin grosses € 476,022. In fifth position is Mavka. The Forest Song, the Ukrainian animated film directed by Oleh Malamuzh, which with its fairy-tale atmosphere earns € 311,626. 65, starring Adam Driver gets the sixth position with a weekly gross of € 259,757.

The film The Crime is Mine, directed by François Ozon and loosely based on the play by Georges Berr and Louis Verneui takes seventh place with earnings of € 252,493. In eighth place we find Suzume, the animated film directed by Makoto Shinkai, which earns € 240,951. In ninth place we find the new film by Pupi Avati, La quattordicesima domenica del tempo ordinario starring Edwige Fenech and Lodo Guenzi, which grosses € 240,719. Finally, in tenth place The Pope’s Exorcist closes the weekly ranking with a gain of € 208,367.
