The 73rd Berlin International Film Festival opens today, 16 February. During the German kermesse, the Italian Pavilion will also be held.

As already reported the Berlinale 2023 will be held until 26 February 2023 at the Berlinale Palast, the event’s historic venue. The Martin Gropius Bau will instead host the Italian Pavilion, which will function as a meeting space for the operators of the national industry who will participate in the festival and as a showcase for Italian products. It will also be possible to participate online in the proposed activities.

Numerous Italian production companies will participate in the Italian Pavilion, including Bim Produzione, Indigo Film, Lucky Red, Parallelo 41 Produzioni and Jump Cut to name a few. At the same time, IDM Film Commission Südtirol will also participate in the event with South Tyrolean professionals.

Italian Pavilion is promoted by Cinecittà, Direzione Generale Cinema e Audiovisivo, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and ITA – Italian Trade Agency.
