The reopening of the Apulia Film Fund was announced during the panel “Puglia. Grants & Industry Projects” organized by Apulia Film Commission during the latest edition of MIA Market.

With an endowment of about 20 million euros, the call aims to support all “Italian and European realities operating in the audiovisual, film and television production sector and to facilitate the attraction and increase of investments aimed at enhancing the Apulian territory and ensuring direct and indirect impacts, including economic and employment impacts,” while enhancing the “territorial locations, the skills of workers and suppliers of the Apulian film industry.”

Eligible for funding are micro, small or medium enterprises to support the production phase of works or series of audiovisual works:

  • feature-length fiction films with a minimum running time of 52 minutes, with main cinematographic exploitation;
  • fiction single and serial television and web works with a minimum total duration of 90 minutes, intended primarily for television broadcasting, including SVOD;
  • creative documentaries with a minimum running time of 52 minutes, for principal motion picture exploitation; creative documentaries, in one or more parts, not primarily intended for motion picture exploitation;-
  • animated feature films with a minimum running time of 52 minutes; animated serial works with a minimum total running time of 24 minutes;
  • fiction shorts with a running time of less than 52 minutes; music shorts (video clips); animation shorts with a minimum running time of 5 minutes.
