ANICA presents the 18 films that are running to represent Italy at the 94th edition of the Oscars.

The Oscars represent one of the most prestigious and coveted events in the film industry. As stated in the press release, this year the following were admitted to the selection: “films distributed in Italy, or to be distributed, in the period between January 1, 2021 and December 31, 2021”.

On October 26, the committee will meet at ANICA to vote for the title representing Italy. The nominations for the 2021 Academy Awards will be officially presented on February 8, 2022, while the Oscars ceremony will take place in Los Angeles on March 27, 2022.
