The Golden Globe nominations have opened the season of Hollywood awards that will end with the Oscars. Vice, the biopic on Vice President Dick Cheney, got six nominations, while five on equal terms received Green Book, starring Viggo Mortensen, and A Star Is Born with Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga. The biggest competition will be for the best actor in drama, such as Glenn Close, Lady Gaga, Nicole Kidman, Melissa McCarthy and Rosamund Pike, while Emily Blunt, Olivia Colman, Elsie Fisher, Charlize Theron and Constance Wu are competing for the comedy or musical. Unfortunately, there was no nomination for the Italian Dogman by Matteo Garrone, on which there were many hopes. For TV, the series The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story won four nominations
