Oceania, in its opening week, has claimed the top spot at the box office, dethroning The Odyssey and Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which had firmly occupied the top positions for more than a month. The Disney live-action adaptation got off to a strong start, grossing 5.091.982 euros and attracting 650.830 spectators, for an impressive debut.
Right behind it, The Odyssey holds on to second place with 3.573.510 euros and 412.368 admissions. The epic has now reached a total gross of 52.124.027 euros. Spider-Man: Brand New Day drops to third place but continues to post strong numbers. Over the past week, it grossed 3.206.191 euros with 399.141 spectators, bringing its total to 34.984.349 euros.
Insidious: Out of the Beyond debuts in fourth place, earning 888.677 euros and attracting 109.227 spectators. Fifth place goes to the Anne Hathaway-led The End of Oak Street, which collected 539.184 euros and 72.694 admissions.
Robin Hood – The Price of Blood, starring Hugh Jackman, takes sixth place with 194.803 euros and 26.600 spectators. Just behind it, Minions & Monsters continues its run in seventh place, earning 144.807 euros and attracting 20.266 spectators.
The horror movie Hokum takes eighth place, generating 98.300 euros and 15.329 admissions. Camp Miasma: Adolescence, Sex and Death debuts in ninth place with 76.452 euros and 10.501 spectators.
Rounding out the top ten is Sacrifice, which generated 57.096 euros and attracted 9.428 spectators.
