After dominating the Netflix charts for about two months, Kpop Demon Hunter hits North American theaters in its sing-along version, earning an estimated $18 to $20 million. According to some American outlets, the Korean phenomenon has pushed Zach Cregger’s horror film Weapons to second place, with $15.6 million.

However, the official rankings place Freakier Friday in second position with $9.1 million. Rounding out the top three is The Fantastic Four – First Steps, which brings in $5.9 million.

In fourth place, The Bad Guys 2 earns $5.1 million, followed by Nobody 2 in sixth place with $3.7 million. A new release this week, Ethan Coen’s dark comedy Honey Don’t! grosses $3 million.

Relay lands in eighth place with $1.9 million, followed by the Chinese animated film Ne Zha 2, which reaches $1.5 million. Closing the chart is Ron Howard’s Eden, with $1 million.
