Next 4 and 5 October will see the fourth edition of “Visionarie”, the festival conceived and directed by Giuliana Aliberti, which over the years has hosted fundamental female names in the world of cinema for two days of full immersion and in-depth analysis. From #MeToo to Gender Gap, to discuss the equal opportunities still to be achieved even in the audiovisual world.
The festival will have free admission and will also this year present the Millennial Visionaria 2024 “Award for vision, courage, passion”, which will be announced on the last day of ‘Visionarie’ and will be presented during the Rome Film Festival.
The event, which will be held in Rome, at Palazzo Merulana, will also be composed of a committee of honour which will include, among others: Jane Campion, New Zealand director, Luciana Castellina, journalist and politician, honorary president of Arci 2014, director Liliana Cavani, Dacia Maraini, Iranian artist Shirin Neshat.
The scientific committee, on the other hand, will be composed of Giuliana Aliberti herself, Chiara Sbarigia president of Cinecittà, Gloria Malatesta, screenwriter, director Anna Negri, Fabia Bettini director of Alice nella città, Gabriella Gallozzi journalist and film critic and entrepreneur Marilena Citelli Francese.
