On Friday, May 19, a meeting between Italy for Movies and Sky Italia will be held at the Italian Pavilion in Cannes regarding the agreement for the promotion of the territory and the internationalization of cinema. The meeting will also be an opportunity to take stock of the partnership between Cinecittà/Italy For Movies and Italian Film Commissions. A memorandum of understanding, the one with Sky Italia that will allow an even more important promotion of the Italian territory, at the service of the internationalization of the audiovisual sector.

Italy for Movies, promoted by MiC/DGCA and managed by Cinecittà in collaboration with the Italian Film Commissions association, through the collaboration agreement with Sky Italia, will strengthen and incentivize a series of activities aimed at promoting within the Italy for Movies portal also Italian locations of Sky productions.

Speakers will include Nicola Borrelli, Director General Cinema and Audiovisual of the Ministry of Culture, Chiara Sbarigia, President of Cinecittà, Margherita Amedei, Senior Director Cinema Sky Italia, Marco Valentini, Head of Policy & EU Affairs Sky Italia, Carmen Diotaiuti, Operations Manager and Deputy Director Italy for Movies, Cristina Priarone, President Italian Film Commissions.
