The Stonebreaker by Gianluca and Massimiliano De Serio, presented at MIA|What’s Next Italy 2019, wins the Laser Film Award at When East Meets West (January 19-21, 2020, Trieste).
For the third edition, When East Meets West and Trieste Film Festival has renewed the partnership with Milano Film Network for This is It the section exclusively dedicated to long feature fiction films and hybrid works produced or co-produced by Italian producers. The jury composed by Cosima Finkbeiner (BETA CINEMA), Olivier Pelisson (SEMAINE DE LA CRITIQUE), Alexia De Vito (Head of Film Co-production Market) delivered the prestigious Laser Film Award to The Stonebreaker by Gianluca and Massimiliano De Serio.
