Pier Silvio Berlusconi is working more and more towards a pan-European TV network.
The results are expected tomorrow, Thursday, September 4th. According to various estimates, they are predicted to be between 70% and 75% of the capital.

During the meeting between the German Media Minister and the CEO of MFE – Media For Europe, Pier Silvio Berlusconi, the key points of the strategic agreement between the Italian group and the German TV giant ProSiebenSat.1 were defined.

As discussed before, the goal is a strategic union that can keep the identity of each country’s content intact.

Besides this, another key point of the meeting was the political support from Berlin.
The minister, in fact, guaranteed a shared vision with MFE, recognizing the need to create a partnership for entertainment within the European Union, moving towards a common regulatory framework.

The agreements go beyond commercial and production aspects, forming a true European media hub, a project Pier Silvio Berlusconi has wanted for years.

The strategy aims to combine resources for acquisitions and productions, creating a structure strong enough to compete with major streaming platforms like Amazon and Netflix.

The content will therefore focus more on entertainment and information, a choice already made by Mediaset in Italy and Spain.

For the German minister, the agreement on maintaining employment levels is essential, along with the guarantee to hire young professionals.

The meeting marks a turning point that leads more and more towards a united media hub: the strategic project is meant to combine operational resources while, at the same time, protecting local content.
