AUSSI – Associazione Uffici Stampa di Cinema e Spettacolo Italiano has officially been founded: a new organization uniting, for the first time, communication professionals working across film, television, and entertainment. Its mission is to represent, support, and promote a profession that plays a key yet often under-recognized role in the cultural industry.
Founded by Valentina Palumbo (President) and twelve colleagues, AUSSI aims to build a strong professional network, offering training, visibility, legal and contractual support to its members while promoting fair working conditions and high communication standards.
“With AUSSI, we want to strengthen awareness of the strategic importance of press offices and create a space for professional growth and collaboration,” says Valentina Palumbo, who also paid tribute to co-founder Silvia Signorelli, “a passionate and dedicated professional whose enthusiasm continues to inspire us.”
The launch of AUSSI has been warmly welcomed by industry figures such as Piera Detassis, Emanuele Farneti, Giorgio Viaro, Lavinia Farnese, Luca Dini, and Alessandro Longobardi, who have all highlighted the crucial role of press offices as key pillars of cultural communication and true ambassadors of the entertainment industry.
