Rob Williams is a leading content strategy executive with an extensive track record driving global film sales, acquisitions and distribution for media companies and distributors throughout his 20+ year career in film. Rob’s recent work includes serving at NEON as Content Strategy and Sales consultant, and 10 years as an executive at Participant. As Senior Vice President of Content & Sales Strategy at Participant, he was responsible for building and executing global sales, distribution and acquisitions strategies across a slate of films and series, leading distribution initiatives to align key partners for films for a varied slate of both narrative and documentary films with a wide range of budgets. Films included the Academy Award nominated All the Beauty and the Bloodshed, and Academy Award winners Green Book, Roma and American Factory. He previously held acquisitions and distribution executive roles at Netflix and Lantica Studios.
