Born in Rome in 1965, he was hired through a technical selection process in 1989 by Rai’s Technical Support Department, where he contributed to the design of the facilities for the twelve stadiums used during the 1990 FIFA World Cup.

In 1992, he was assigned to the Production Center of the Regional Headquarters for Lazio, within the TV Filming Structure – External Filming – Heavy Equipment, participating in countless major national and international events, also serving as a liaison for Networks and News.

In 1999, he began working in the TV Division, Channels 1 and 2 – Rai2, and since 2003 he has served as a program planner and director.

In this role, he worked within the “Information and Features” area as an executive producer, gaining extensive experience and expertise in information-based programming.

Within the same channel, he was entrusted with television projects relating to prime-time and late-night entertainment, as well as productions managed by the Milan production hub, such as Quelli che il calcio.

In September 2013, for his work in the “Entertainment” organizational unit of the Rai2 Directorate, he was promoted to the rank of “Funzionario Super” (Senior Officer), and in January 2014 he was appointed executive.

In 2016, he was assigned to the Rai Gold Directorate as Head of the Staff Area “Planning and Support.”

From 2018 to 2022, he was seconded to Rai Pubblicità as Head of the “Brand Integration” unit, overseeing the production of advertising formats, branded content, and cross-media projects.

In May 2022, he returned to the Company, joining the Communication Directorate as Head of “Media Partnerships, Sponsorships, External Relations, and Protocol.” Subsequently, within the same Directorate, he became Head of the organizational unit “Protocol and External Relations.”

In 2023, he was appointed to the Documentaries Directorate as Head of the organizational unit “Economic Planning and Resources.”

Since August 2023, while retaining responsibility for “Economic Planning and Resources,” he has also served as Deputy Director.

From October 2023 to March 2024, he additionally held interim responsibility for the “Administrative and Regulatory Support” area.

In March 2025, he was appointed Director of the Documentaries Directorate within the Genre Coordination Division.
