Caroline Hollick

Executive Producer

Caroline was most recently Senior Vice President, International Development and Production at Peter Chernin’s North Road Company. There, she developed scripted projects for both the UK and international markets, and was an executive producer on upcoming medical thriller Heart of a Killer starring Niv Sultan, co-produced with Sipur Studios and Endemol Shine.

Previously she was Head of Drama at Channel 4 from 2018 – 2024, where she presided over a major revival in the channel’s drama output, overseeing a series of critically acclaimed and BAFTA-winning shows, alongside record-breaking streaming hits. Successes included celebrated series It’s A Sin by Russell T Davies, Jack Thorne’s hard-hitting COVID drama Help, starring Jodie Comer and Stephen Graham, I Am Ruth by Dominic Savage and Kate Winslet, Chivalry by Sarah Solemani and Steve Coogan, and Somewhere Boy by Pete Jackson. She had significant commercial success with a number of European adaptations, including Before We Die starring Lesley Sharpe, Suspect starring James Nesbitt and The Couple Next Door starring Sam Heughan. Other shows included top streaming hit The Gathering by Helen Walsh, Generation Z by filmmaker Ben Wheatley, and Get Millie Black by Booker Prize-winning novelist Marlon James, co-produced with HBO. She also oversaw several series of continuing drama Ackley Bridge alongside ongoing progressive soap Hollyoaks.

Before that, she was Creative Director at Studio-Canal-owned Red Production Company, where she oversaw the development of successful dramas such as Happy Valley and Last Tango in Halifax by Sally Wainwright, as well as executive producing ground-breaking drama Butterfly by Tony Marchant, and Lenny Henry’s first original drama Danny and the Human Zoo. Before that, she was Head of Development at Red. She began her career as a production trainee at Yorkshire Television.
